The Story

Kate Bishop first appeared in Young Avengers #1 in 2005 and proved fast she was not a sidekick. Trained in archery, martial arts, swordplay, and strategy, she took up the Hawkeye mantle in honor of Clint Barton while carving her own identity.

Sharp-witted, stubborn, and armed with a firm moral compass, she often needles the Avengers' old guard, the Iron Man and Captain America types, while leading the next generation. The Hawkeye Disney+ series pushed her from comic newcomer to a wider audience.

First Kate Bishop NFT animated, drawing her bow

The collectible animates the shot. Kate starts in a confident stance with sunglasses on, then draws back the bowstring with her hair swaying and her focus locked. The motion is smooth and comic-accurate, and the pulsing purple Hawkeye backdrop makes it read well on a display shelf or in AR.

The Drop

Kate landed as one third of a coordinated Marvel drop on November 12, 2023, next to the first Hawkeye and Ronin collectibles. At 900 editions she had the smallest supply of the three, which makes her the scarcest piece in the set. The run moved quickly, and copies now live on the VeVe secondary market.
