The Story

Susan Storm Richards, the Invisible Woman, is a founding member of the Fantastic Four and debuted in Fantastic Four #1, cover-dated November 1961, from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. She started out billed as the Invisible Girl, and for years her powers were written as secondary to the men on the team. Marvel eventually rewrote that: her force-field control grew into one of the most versatile power sets in the entire universe, capable of shielding the team, crushing opponents, and even affecting things she cannot see.

She can vanish from sight and project force fields strong enough to protect the whole group, and she has bailed the Fantastic Four out more times than anyone tallies. Beyond the powers, Sue is the emotional center of the team, the one who holds a bickering family of geniuses and hotheads together. Her renaming from Invisible Girl to Invisible Woman tracked her evolution from support player to one of Marvel's most formidable heroes.

The collectible puts her in an action-ready pose, ringed by shimmering, semi-transparent force fields. Golden hair, a confident smirk, and the blue Fantastic Four suit all carry into the big-eyed Marvel Mightys style, and even stylized, the force fields add real motion to the sculpt.
