Victor Von Doom is one of the most dangerous minds Marvel has ever put on the page. He first appeared in Fantastic Four #5, cover-dated July 1962, a few issues after the team's own debut, from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. A brilliant scientist and sorcerer disfigured by a lab accident he blamed on his college rival Reed Richards, Doom seized the throne of the small European nation of Latveria and has ruled it as an armored, iron-willed dictator ever since.
