The Story

The Hulk debuted in The Incredible Hulk #1, cover-dated May 1962, from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Physicist Bruce Banner shielded a teenager from a gamma bomb detonation during a test and absorbed the blast himself, and the radiation split him into two: the brilliant, mild scientist and the monster his anger unleashes. He started out grey in that first issue before settling into the green everyone recognizes. VeVe tags this collectible First Appearance, its marker for a character's genuine platform debut, and the sculpt captures Hulk at his most recognizable: massive, snarling mid-roar, in his signature tattered purple pants, green skin textured with heavy muscle definition under tension.

Then comes the moment. Hulk coils, raises his fists, and brings them crashing down in a full Hulk Smash. The animation sends shockwaves through the ground, with cracks and debris exploding outward. Hulk landed late for a character this big, one of the original Avengers and a founding face of the MCU, which only made the drop more anticipated. At 4,444 editions it was deliberately scarce.

For comparison, Spider-Man had 60,500 total, Captain America's Mightys had 28,888, and Thor had 38,800 across five tiers. Hulk got a single variant at 4,444, and it moved fast.

Market Context

The scarcity case is simple math: Hulk is a top-tier Marvel character, and only 4,444 copies of his first collectible exist. That supply-to-recognition ratio is one of the best on VeVe.

Most major Marvel characters got larger runs, often 10,000 or more for the Common tier alone, so Hulk's total supply is smaller than the Secret Rare tier of some other drops. The piece is also animated, and animated collectibles usually trade at a premium over static ones because they simply do more. Collector's Note

For a Hulk fan, this is his one and only blockchain debut piece, and it is animated. There is nothing else quite like it, and the supply is tight enough that owning one puts you in a small group.
