The Story

The Armorer first appeared in The Mandalorian, the Disney+ series that launched in 2019 and reset how a whole generation sees Star Wars. She leads the covert Mandalorian tribe hidden beneath Nevarro, forging beskar armor at her forge and keeping the creed alive with the line that became the show's signature, "This is the Way." Played by Emily Swallow behind a horned helmet, she is the figure who arms Din Djarin, reads the histories of Mandalore, and sends him on the path that drives the series. She sits in the same corner of the galaxy as the first Mandalorian NFT and the first Grogu NFT, both of which came out of this same era of Star Wars storytelling.

VeVe tags this piece First Appearance, its confirmation that a collectible is the character's real debut on the platform. For a supporting character rather than a headline name, landing an Ultra Rare figure at this low a mint count is the part collectors pay attention to.

The figure catches The Armorer standing resolute in full Mandalorian plate, the horned helmet and layered armor rendered down to the tooling marks on the beskar. It is a still, imposing pose that reads as both protector and leader, closer to a display statue than an action shot, which suits a character defined by ritual and authority rather than blaster fights.

The Armorer was the Ultra Rare tier inside The Mandalorian Characters Series 1, a blind box that also held Din Djarin and Grogu at Rare and the Mandalorian at Secret Rare. VeVe minted 2,019 editions, withheld 50, and burned none, leaving roughly 1,969 in circulation. That is a genuinely small float for a Star Wars piece.

Market Context

This was a Season 9 drop under the Star Wars license, carrying VeVe's standard 8.50% market fee. At 2,019 editions, supply here is a fraction of the older Star Wars vehicle firsts, which ran into the thousands or tens of thousands. The Armorer is a secondary character, so demand is narrower than a Yoda or a Vader, but the pairing of a low mint count with the First Appearance tag is exactly the setup that keeps a piece interesting on the secondary market. The first status is permanent. However many Armorer figures VeVe releases later, this May 2025 Ultra Rare will always be the original.

If you collect The Mandalorian cast on VeVe, this one belongs next to Din Djarin and Grogu, and it is arguably the harder get of the group because of how few were minted. The low edition count does most of the work here: it is a scarce, clean Ultra Rare of a character with a real role in the show rather than a background cameo.
