The Story

Boba Fett first appeared in the animated segment of the Star Wars Holiday Special in November 1978, then made his live-action debut in The Empire Strikes Back in 1980, played by Jeremy Bulloch. He is a bounty hunter in weathered Mandalorian-style armor, an unaltered clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, and in the original trilogy he is the one hunter cold enough to track the Millennium Falcon and hand Han Solo over to the Empire frozen in carbonite.

He speaks only a handful of lines and gets limited screen time, yet the green helmet, the jetpack, the battle-scarred plating, and the silent-professional attitude turned him into one of the most collected characters in Star Wars. Decades later he headlined his own Disney+ series, The Book of Boba Fett (2021).
