The Story

The Lamborghini Murciélago ran from 2001 to 2010 as the first all-new Lamborghini built after Audi took ownership of the marque. Styled by Luc Donckerwolke and named after a legendary Spanish fighting bull, it replaced the Diablo as the brand's V12 halo car and set the template for the wedge-shaped, scissor-doored supercars that followed.

The LP670-4 SuperVeloce captured here is the send-off model. Launched in 2009, the SV took the 6.5-liter V12 to 670 metric horsepower (hence the LP670), fed it through all-wheel drive (the "4"), and stripped weight to hit 0 to 60 mph in roughly 3.2 seconds on the way to a top speed north of 200 mph. Only around 350 were built before the Aventador took over, which is what makes the SV the one diecast and model-car collectors hunt for when they want the definitive Murciélago.

VeVe marks every piece in this set First Edition, its tag for a genuine platform debut. The digital sculpt carries the SV's aggressive aero over the standard car: the taller rear wing, the vented engine cover, the low nose. Four factory colors split the set across the rarity tiers, so the paint you pull decides where your car sits in the pecking order.

The Four Variants

The blind box held four color treatments of the same LP670-4 SV, each pulled at longer odds as the rarity climbs. The gold entry was the easy get, the black Secret Rare was the chase.

5,148 editions total across the four colors. VeVe records a single burned edition on the Oro Adonis, so the live float is a touch under the minted count.

Market Context

This drop landed in Season 6 at a $70 list price with an 8.50% market fee, the standard structure for VeVe's automotive licenses. At 5,148 total editions it sits on the tighter side for a four-tier blind box, and the split matters: the Nero Pegaso Metallic Secret Rare at 631 editions is the scarcest car in the set by a wide margin, which is where the secondary premiums concentrate.

The First Edition status is permanent. However many Murciélago colors or trims VeVe releases later, this September 2023 set will always be the model's digital first. All VeVe collectibles now live on the Collect blockchain following the January 2026 migration, with secondary trading through the in-app market and the StackR marketplace.

Collector's Note
