The Story

Darth Vader's TIE Fighter, the TIE Advanced x1, first appeared in the original Star Wars in 1977. Built to the Dark Lord's own specifications, it added a hyperdrive, a deflector shield generator, and greater speed than the standard TIE, and its bent solar-panel wings set it apart from the flat panels of the rest of the fleet. It is the ship Vader flies in the Battle of Yavin, peeling off from the Death Star trench in the moment that spins him out into the events of the next two films. The pilot behind the controls is the same Sith Lord from the first Darth Vader NFT, which makes this the vehicle companion to that character drop.

VeVe tags this piece First Edition, marking it as the platform's first release of the model. It is one of two ships in the launch series, sharing the blind box with the Ultra Rare Scythe.

The model is a full-color 1:1 scale rendering of the TIE Advanced x1, the cockpit ball flanked by the signature curved wing panels.
