The Story

BB-8 is the little orange-and-white ball droid who stole The Force Awakens out from under a cast of new leads. After Poe Dameron's capture on Jakku, BB-8 escapes into the desert carrying a piece of the map to Luke Skywalker, and that single errand kicks the whole sequel trilogy into motion. Loyal, quick, and full of personality despite never speaking a word of Basic, the droid became a breakout the moment it appeared.
