The Story

Toph Beifong is the greatest earthbender alive and she is blind. Born into the wealthy Beifong family, who treated her disability as something to hide indoors, Toph learned to bend in secret by studying badgermoles, the original earthbenders, and reading vibrations through the ground with her bare feet. That skill let her see the world in a way sighted benders never could, and it turned her into a prodigy her own parents never knew existed.

First Toph NFT digital collectible, Avatar: The Last Airbender

She joins Team Avatar in Book Two: Earth, initially as Aang's earthbending teacher, and never once softens her personality to fit in. Blunt, stubborn, and allergic to being underestimated, Toph is often the funniest and toughest member of the group at the same time. She later becomes the inventor of metalbending, a skill no one thought was possible, which cements her as one of the most respected characters in the franchise.

Every variant in this set carries VeVe's First Appearance tag, its marker for a genuine platform debut. The base Toph collectible can also be combined with the Common Aang - Airbender digital collectible from the separate Avatar: Aang series to craft an Aang - Earthbender collectible, a crossover mechanic worth knowing if you plan to collect across both series.

The Three Variants

All three sculpts share the same $30 list price, so pull odds are what actually separate them, and one of the three hides a far smaller print run than its rarity label suggests.

That is 2,235 editions total, with 75 withheld and none burned yet since this is a fresh drop. The Blind Bandit Special Edition is the real chase piece here, its 25-count print run dwarfing even the Secret Rare, while the base Toph variant makes up the bulk of the box at 2,005 editions.

Market Context

This was a Season 12 drop under VeVe's Paramount Pictures license, carrying the standard 8.50% market fee. Because it only released August 16, 2026, none of the 75 withheld editions have burned yet, so current scarcity comes entirely from the mint counts and pull odds rather than any post-launch burn.

Toph's arrival adds another core Team Avatar member to VeVe's Avatar: The Last Airbender lineup, joining the platform's existing first Katara NFT under the same Paramount Pictures license. Between the two, VeVe now has two of the show's core benders on-chain, with the built-in demand that comes from a fandom that has stayed loyal since the series ended in 2008.

Collector's Note

For Avatar collectors, this is the set that finally puts Toph on-chain, and the underground-fighter angle on the Blind Bandit gives it more depth than a single-pose drop. The Blind Bandit Special Edition is the piece to chase if you want the scarcity, while the base Toph variant is the accessible way to hold her first-appearance status.
